Russian tennis sensation Ekaterina Alexandrova is a professional tennis player who turned pro in 2011. With a WTA singles ranking of No. 22 as of June 2024, Alexandrova has won four singles and one doubles title to date, including the 2023 and 2022 Libema Open. Her best grand slam performance came at the 2023 Wimbledon, where she lost to Aryna Sabalenka in the fourth round of the tournament.

Alexandrova also reached the semi-final of the 2024 Miami Open, her second WTA 1000 semi-final. However, she lost to Danielle Collins. She also reached the quarterfinal of the same tournament with Irina Khromacheva in the doubles category. Alexandrova reached the quarterfinal in singles and the semifinal in doubles with Katerina Siniakova at the 2024 Wuhan Open.

At the 2024 Linz Open, Alexandrova reached the final, where she lost to Jelena Ostapenko in straight sets. She has won many awards, including the 2020 Russian Olympian and 2021 Team of the Year awards. Internationally, she helped Russia lift the 2020/21 Fed Cup, now known as the Billie Jean King Cup. She also reached the quarterfinal of the 2024 Qatar Open.

Ekaterina Alexandrova’s coaching team includes her father Evgeny Alexandrova and Petr Kralert.

Kralert was a professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. He helped his country to secure a clean sweep at the 1999 Davis Cup after defeating Oleg Ogorodov. He is a right-handed player who defeated Roger Federer in the Sunshine Cup in the junior category. As a junior, he reached a career-high ranking of No. 19.

Alexandrova's father Evgeny started training his daughter when she was six years old. Both her parents relocated to the Czech Republic as they were fascinated by the facilities and number of tennis courts available for practice there.
