Katerina Siniakova was a very talented player from a very young age. In her junior career, she won girls' doubles titles at the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open with Barbora Krejcikova. She reached her highest ranking World No. 2 in juniors in December 2012.

Siniakova made her WTA main draw debut in 2013 at the Miami Open. In her first WTA main draw match, she faced Spanish player Garbine Muguruza and lost in three sets. In 2014, she made her Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open, and once again she lost in the first round. She won her first WTA match in July 2014 at the İstanbul Cup. At the 2015 Australian Open, she won her first Grand Slam match, and in March 2015, she won her first WTA 1000 match at the Indian Wells Open.

Katerina Siniakova won her first WTA singles title at the Shenzhen Open, where she defeated former world No. 1 Simona Halep, her first win over a top-10 player. In 2021, she and Krejcikova reached the Australian Open final, where they lost to Elise Mertens and Aryna Sabalenka. However, at the French Open the same year, the pair defeated Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Iga Swiatek to win their second French Open title together.

In 2022, Siniakova and Krejcikova won the Australian Open and Wimbledon doubles titles. She won the 2022 US Open doubles title with Krejcikova and completed the career Golden Slam. In 2023, she won her second Australian Open doubles title.
