Alexander Alexandrovich Galchenyuk, born on February 12, 1994, is a professional ice hockey center of American- Belarusian Heritage. He is presently contracted with SKA Saint Petersburg of the Kontinental Hockey League(KHL). Prior to that Galchenyuk has previously showcased his skills in the National Hockey League(NHL) with various teams including the Montreal Canadiens, Arizona Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Colorado Avalanche. Notably, he was selected third overall by the Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Ertry Draft.

Galchenyuk hails from Belarusian ancestry, and has represented America internationally.
