Jack Eichel Contract
Jack Eichel

Jack Eichel is an American ice hockey professional and an alternate captain for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League. The Buffalo Sabres selected him as the second overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry draft. After his draft in the NHL, he quickly became a notable figure in American hockey. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Sabres for $11,325,000. He scored his first goal on October 8, 2015, against the Ottawa Senators and became the youngest player in the Sabres's history to accomplish this achievement in the debut game.

One of his significant moments in the NHL in terms of money is his $80 million contract extension with the Sabres until the 2025-2026 season. However, Eichel was traded to the Golden Vegas Knights in 2021 due to his tension with the Sabres over an injury and medical disputes. After recovering from his slipped disk injury, he helped the Vegas Golden Knights to reach the playoffs where he played a key role. His contribution in the playoffs helped the Golden Knights claim the Stanley Cup. Eichel finished second for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the Most Valuable Player in the playoffs.
