Juuse Saros

Juuse Saros is a Finnish ice hockey professional goaltender who currently plays for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League (NHL). Saros was born Forssa, Finland and played his entire youth hockey career with his hometown club Hämeenlinnan Pallokerho (HPK).

His arrival to the NHL happened during the 2014-15 season as the Nashville Predators selected him in the NHL entry level draft. Upon signing, Saros was sent to the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL to hone his skills and adapt the playing style according to the American culture. He found success in the AHL, earning selections to the All-Rookie Team and All-Star Game in his rookie season. The Predators promoted him as a starter during 2018 after an injury to Pekka Rinne. Saros soon started giving strong performances and was honoured with NHL All-Rookie team selection. His recent successes have led to two All-Star game selections ( in 2022 and 2023).
