Kevin Fiala, born on July 22,1996, is a Swiss professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Hailing from St. Gallen, Switzerland, Fiala began his career the Malmo Redhawks junior team before transitioning to HV71, where he spent a season split between their junior and senior teams in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Taking notice of his talents, many scouting services considered him as a top-three player available at the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. This was followed by the Nashville Predators picking him as the 11th overall selection in the 2014 Draft. Subsequently, he was signed to a three-year, entry level contract by the Predators and was assigned to the Milwaukee Admirals, starting from 2015.

Kevin Fiala Early Life
Kevin Fiala participated in the 2009 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as part of the Swiss Eastern team. Subsequently, he competed in different junior leagues in Switzerland before joining the Swedish club Malmo Redhawks for the 2012-13 season. During his tenure with Malmo Redhawks, he played for both the U18 club in the J18 Elit and J18 Allsvenskan, as well as the U20 team in the J20 SuperELit. Following this, Fiala transitioned to HV71, where he made his debut during the 2013 European trophy.
Subsequently, Kevin Fiala emerged as one of the top European prospects for the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, garnering recognition as a top-three player by numerous scouting services. Ultimately, he was selected by the Nashville Predators with the 11th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The Predators subsequently inked him to a three-year, entry-level contract on July 15, 2014. Howeverz he continued to play for HV71 until December of that year.
In January 2015, he was assigned to the Milwaukee Admirals, the Predators’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. At that juncture, Fiala had accumulated 14 points in 20 games, placing him sixth in points among all junior players in the SHL. He made his NHL debut during the latter stages of the season against the Montreal Canadiens.
