Nazem Kadri is a Canadian ice hockey player in the National Hockey League (NHL), representing the Calgary Flames. He was born on October 6, 1990, and began his professional journey in the Ontario Hockey League where he played with the Kitchener Rangers and later the London Knights. During his time with the Kitchener Rangers, he contributed to the J. Ross Robertson Cup victory and competed in the 2008 Memorial Cup final.

Kadri began his NHL journey with the Toronto Maple Leafs who selected him in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
