Adam Fantilli is drawing a lot of attention from NHL fans as he heads into his second season with the Blue Jackets. The NHL asked fans on X (formerly Twitter) if Fantilli would beat the 49-point mark this year.
Last season, Fantilli scored 27 points, 12 goals and 15 assists in 49 games. His rookie performance showed promise, and this season, he is expected to have a bigger role. Playing on the top power-play unit should boost his numbers.
Fans on X are eager to see if Fantilli can surpass the 49-point target. Many believe he can exceed this mark and become a valuable player in both dynasty and redraft fantasy leagues. His progress from rookie to key player for the Blue Jackets has led to interest among hockey fans.

Adam Fantilli is ready for his sophomore season in NHL
Adam Fantilli, 19, plays center for the Columbus Blue Jackets. At 6'2" and 194 pounds, he was the third pick in the 2023 Draft. He chose to play in the US instead of the OHL, first with Chicago in the USHL and then at Michigan, where he scored 30 goals in one season.
In his rookie NHL season, Fantilli scored 12 goals and 15 assists in 49 games. An injury in January limited his play, but he was fourth in rookie scoring before that. His best game came on December 7, when he scored twice and added an assist against the Islanders.
Fantilli's older brother, Luca, plays at Michigan too. The Blue Jackets expect him to start the 2024-25 season as their No. 2 center, hoping he will continue to develop and make an impact.
