Patrick Brown's Contract
Patrick Brown joined the Boston Bruins on July 1, 2023, signing a two-year, $1.6million contract. Despite not making the Bruins’ roster at the end of the 2023 training camp, he was waived on October 8, went unclaimed, and was assigned to the AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins, on October 9. However, Brown’s stint in Providence was brief, as he was recalled by Boston on October 10. Subsequently, he was returned to Providence on November 25 after appearing in eight games with Boston, registering one point. The months of December 2023 and January 2024 were also characterized by brief stints across the minor and major leagues.
Talking about his contract history, Patric Brown signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Carolina Hurricanes as an undrafted free agent on April 12, 2014.
