Spencer Knight is an American ice hockey goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks, as of March 2025. Born on April 19, 2001, in Darien, Connecticut, Knight found inspiration in legendary New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. His journey began at Darien High School and continued at Avon Old Farms. Knight earned a spot with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program, where he set a record with 59 wins in two seasons.

Drafted 13th overall by the Panthers in 2019, Knight played college hockey at Boston College, earning awards such as Hockey East Player of the Year. He debuted with the Panthers in 2021, becoming the first NHL goaltender born in the 21st century. In April 2022, he was named Rookie of the Month in the NHL.
