Michelle Sechser is an American rower, born on November 1, 1986, in San Luis Obispo, California, U.S. She has been on the U.S. National Rowing team since 2011. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, she competed in the women's lightweight double sculls event.

In 2011 at the Pan American Games held in Guadalajara, Mexico, she won the bronze medal in both the women's lightweight double sculls and women's quadruple sculls events. She is a one-time Olympian who participated at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and was the fifth at the Lightweight Double Sculls - Women’s event. Michelle will be representing the USA Team in the lightweight women’s double sculls at the Olympic Games in Paris.

Michelle began rowing at the age of 13 for Capital Crew in Gold River, CA. She attended Folsom High School and the University of Tulsa and she also graduated from Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. She also got her MBA from the University of Tulsa. In 2022 she was inducted into the University of Tulsa Athletic Hall of Fame. Michelle was the US Rowing Female Athlete of the Year in 2022.

In the women's lightweight double sculls event in 2023, Michelle won a silver medal at the World Cup Varese event and a silver medal at the World Rowing Championships event in Belgrade, Serbia. She also won the Women's Championship 1x event at the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, MA, and the USRowing Fall Speed Order in 2023. In 2024 She won a bronze medal at the World Cup Lucerne in the women's lightweight double sculls event.
