Pamela Rose Martinez, known professionally as Bayley, is an American female professional wrestler of Mexican-American descent. She currently competes on the SmackDown brand in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as the WWE Women's Champion. At the age of eighteen, Bayley began her wrestling training under the moniker Davina Rose at Big Time Wrestling from 2008 to 2012. She registered her first win at the age of twenty-three at SHIMMER Women Athletes Volume 48. Later that year, she was hired by WWE as a Performance Center talent under the ring name Bayley and earned her first victory in a tag team contest at NXT live event. Since then, she has managed to make her own name in WWE by clinching several championships. Currently, she stands in the record books as the first woman to claim both the Women’s Triple Crown Champion and Women’s Grand Slam Champion titles in the WWE.

Bayley was born on June 15, 1989, in the Bay Area suburb of Newark, California to Thomas Martinez and Annmarie Martinez. Thomas and Annmarie have four children. Bayley is their third child, and she has two elder sisters and one younger brother.
