Tonga Loa, real name Tevita Fifita, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE's SmackDown brand. He boasts a lengthy career that began in WWE's developmental territory in 2009. Fans might recognize him from his earlier WWE stint under the name Camacho.

Tonga Loa truly made his mark, however, outside of WWE. He achieved significant tag team success in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) alongside his brother, Tama Tonga, forming the renowned Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.). Together, they captured the prestigious IWGP Tag Team Championship a record seven times. In May 2024, Tonga Loa's career took a surprising turn. He returned to WWE, aligning himself with the dominant Bloodline stable, which includes his brother Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa.

Tonga Loa is an American by Nationality. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 7, 1983. Hawaii is a U.S. state, and individuals born there are automatically considered American citizens by birthright citizenship. Details about Tonga Loa potentially holding dual citizenship or residing in another country haven't been publicly disclosed and thus, his citizenship and nationality are both most likely American. While his paternal ties and his ethnicity extend to Tonga, he was born and raised in America and wrestled in Japan.

Tonga Loa's ethnicity is of Tongan descent. Tama Tonga’s real name is Tevita Fifita, which is of Tongan origin, Tongan names traditionally hold significant meaning and connect individuals to their family history and cultural identity. Further, he is the son of former professional wrestler Haku, whose real name is Tonga ʻUliʻuli Fifita.

Haku was born in Nukuʻalofa, Kingdom of Tonga, and spent a good amount of time there and was a Tongan himself. Not much is known of Tonga Loa’s mother besides her name Dorothy Koloamatangi. While details of Tonga Loa’s upbringing are not publicly available, it's evident he was exposed to Tongan language, customs, and traditions, solidifying his cultural connection. While he is a Tongan by ethnicity, promotions often create broader ethnic identities for storylines and bill him as either “Samoan” or “Pacific Islander” for a better flow of storylines. Being Haku's son creates a bridge to the Anoa'i family, but Tonga Loa's ethnicity remains firmly Tongan.

Tonga Loa was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. This vibrant island city, infused with Polynesian culture, undoubtedly played a role in his formative years. He was born on May 7, 1983. Growing up, he moved to Texas for higher education and graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso. There, he was interested in playing American Football.
