About Dallas Mavericks Depth Chart

Heading into the 2023-24 NBA season, superstar Luka Doncic leads the Dallas Mavericks depth chart, along with eight-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving. The fearsome backcourt duo of Dallas makes the Mavs one of the dark horses in the NBA.

At the forefront of the Mavericks depth chart is Luka Doncic, showcasing his all-time legendary offensive skill set and ability to create offensive opportunities for himself and his teammates. His offensive versatility makes him a threat to score, facilitate, and rebound the ball, providing triple-double opportunities on any given night.

Joining him is the 2016 champion, Kyrie Irving, known for his fearless and spectacular game which features mesmerizing dribble combinations and tough shot-making. Together, Doncic and Irving are going to be box office attractions for the 2023-24 NBA season.

Supporting Irving-Luka dup are Derrick Jones Jr. at small forward, known for his athleticism and explosive dunking ability, and PJ Washington, acquired from Charlotte in a mid-season trade who adds depth at power forward, bringing his fundamentally strong stretch-four gameplay at power forward position.

At center, the Mavs got a marquee acquisition in Daniel Gafford, who made an instant impact after joining the team at the trade deadline. Gafford’s improved two-way gameplay alongside Doncic and Irving adds another dimension to the Mavericks' frontcourt.

Off the bench, the Mavericks feature Dante Exum, who comes behind Doncic and Irving in the backcourt. Tim Hardaway Jr. is a Mavericks veteran who brings his knockdown shooting prowess to the lineup yet again. Maxi Kleber will support PJ Washington at power forward, while rookie sensation Derrick Lively gets his opportunity to shine as the backup center.

Under the guidance of coach Jason Kidd, it remains to be seen where the Dallas Mavericks depth chart will take them in the 2023-24 NBA season.
