About Portland Trail Blazers Depth Chart

The Portland Trail Blazers are gearing up for an exciting 2023-24 NBA campaign with a talented roster. The Portland Trail Blazers depth chart is loaded with emerging young stars ready to make their mark.

The Blazers depth chart is led by the shooting guard Anfernee Simons. After missing starting games due to injury, Simons is back on the court. He will continue his ascent as a prominent scorer in the league. Known for his pinpoint passing and dead-eye three-point shooting, Simons will form a formidable duo with power forward Jerami Grant.

Grant is a versatile offensive weapon who can knock down threes from the arc as well as finish strong at the rim. He joins Simons and newly acquired center DeAndre Ayton to comprise Portland's "big three." Ayton is a force on the interior at both ends of the floor - a stout rim protector on defense and a powerful finisher around the basket.

The starting point guard duties fall to rookie Scoot Henderson, a poised floor general adept at setting up his teammates. At small forward, Kris Murray provides another youthful offensive spark with his ability to score from all over the court.

The Trail Blazers boast an impressive bench unit led by defensive stalwart Matisse Thybulle. Thybulle is an elite ball hawk who will be relied upon to generate extra possessions with his quick hands and instincts. Jabari Walker slots in as the backup power forward, using his 6'9" frame to body opponents on the interior.

Doup Reath will be a key glue guy for Portland's second unit, providing energy, hustle and timely three-point shooting off the bench. Dalano Banton is earning increased minutes thanks to his well-rounded play on both ends. At 7'2", reserve center Moses Brown will see spot minutes when the Blazers need an extra big body to protect the paint.

With a mix of veterans and upcoming talent, the Portland Trail Blazers are capable of making noise in the Western Conference. They might not be able to make to the playoffs this season, but they can upset a few of the teams in the conference
