Brandon Williams is an American professional basketball player who plays as a point guard for the Dallas Mavericks and their G League affiliate, the Texas Legends. Born on November 22, 1999, in Los Angeles, California, Williams attended Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California, where he was a four-star recruit. He then played college basketball at the University of Arizona during the 2018–19 season. In his lone season with the Wildcats, Williams averaged 11.4 points per game and earned honorable mention Pac-12 Conference All-Freshman Team honors. Williams eventually declared for the 2021 NBA Draft but went undrafted.

Since going undrafted, Brandon Williams has been working out to secure a spot on an NBA team’s roster by playing in the G League. As of November 2024, Williams has played for four different G League teams. In the 2021–22 season, Brandon Williams played for the Westchester Knicks. During the 2022–23 season, Williams played 44 games for the Atlanta Hawks G League affiliate team — College Park Skyhawks. In the 2023–24 season, Brandon Williams split time between the Osceola Magic and the Texas Legends. Although he has primarily played in the G League, Brandon Williams has also appeared in 41 NBA games as of November 2024. In his rookie season with the Portland Trail Blazers during the 2021–22 season, he played 24 games. In the 2023–24 season, he appeared in 17 games for the Dallas Mavericks, continuing to work toward a more permanent role in the NBA.
