He started his career with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2017/18 season after going undrafted in 2016. The defensive specialist helped the Warriors win the NBA championship in 2022. After spending half of the 2022/23 season with the Portland Trail Blazers, GP II was traded back to the Warriors in a four team trade.
Over 22 games for Trail Blazers and Warriors combined in the 2022/23 season, GP II averaged 4.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He shot 59.4% from the field, including 50.0% from deep.
