Jordan Taylor Clarkson is a professional basketball player for the Utah Jazz of the NBA as of October 2024. Clarkson played his college basketball at the University of Tulsa, where he played for two seasons, and then transferred to Missouri. At the University of Missouri, Clarkson earned second-team all-conference honors in the SEC. In his freshman season at Tulsa, Clarkson was honored by being named to the 2011 Conference USA All-Freshman team.

In the 2012-23 season, Clarkson had to sit out as per the NCAA transfer rules. However, in his junior season, he was named to the 2014 All-SEC second team. Later he declared his name for the 2014 NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Washington Wizards as the 46th overall pick. However, he was later traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. In the Lakers, Clarkson spent four seasons until 2018, before he got traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in February 2018. In the same season, he reached the NBA Finals with the Cavaliers. Clarkson was traded to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Dante Exum and two future second-round picks in 2019. In the 2020-21 season, Clarkson won the NBA Sixth Man Of the Year Award.
