
Luke Jacob Travers is a professional Australian basketball player who was born on September 3, 2001, in Perth, Australia. As of March 2025, Travers plays as a guard/forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the NBA. He was drafted as the 56th overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft and played in the 2022 NBA Summer League. Travers averaged 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in five games. In July 2024, he rejoined the Cavaliers and as of March 23, 2025, he has appeared in nine NBA games, averaging 0.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
Travers started playing basketball for the Rockingham Flames as a junior and made his senior debut for the Flames in the State Basketball League in 2017. In the 2019-20 season, he played his professional game for the Perth Wildcats of the NBL. Travers made 94 appearances over four seasons with the Wildcats, scoring 634 points and securing 400 rebounds successfully. He also played one season for Melbourne United and posted 300 points and 190 rebounds in 25 appearances. Travers also led the Australian U16 basketball team to victory in the 2017 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship.
