Arthur Kaluma is a collegiate basketball forward for the Texas Longhorns in the Southeastern Conference. He had previously played for the Kansas State Wildcats and Creighton Bluejays. Born and reared in Irving, Texas, Kaluma first attended Universal Academy. He relocated to Glendale, Arizona to attend Dream City Christian School before his junior year. After head coach T. J. Otzelberger left, Kaluma, a four-star prospect, was dismissed from UNLV after initially signing a National Letter of Intent to play for the school. In 2021, after weighing offers from Western Kentucky, Syracuse, and Arizona, he ultimately chose to play NCAA basketball at Creighton.
His official Texas Athletics roster states that Kaluma became a citizen of Uganda in 2020. He played for the Uganda men's national basketball team at AfroBasket 2021. Kaluma also joined the team to play in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualifiers.
