RaeQuan Battle plays guard for the Greensboro Swarm in the NBA G-league. Battle was a four-star prospect who started playing basketball at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. He was ranked 70th in the country by Rivals, 85th by 247sports, and 91st by ESPN in the Class of 2019 Top 100. With 1,667 points at the end of his prep career, Battle led his high school team in scoring. He also has 43 points, the school's single-game scoring record.

He became the first member of the Tulalip tribe to receive a DI basketball scholarship. Before enrolling in college, he played in the Nike EYBL for Seattle Rotary and was recognized as the 2019 Tulalip Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year. Battle participated in a total of 34 games over his two seasons with the Washington Huskies. During the 2020–21 season, he recorded an average of 17.8 minutes and achieved a career-high of 4.6 points per game. As a 2nd year sophomore at Montana State University, he played in all 35 games, averaging 17.2 minutes as a bench player. Battle scored an average of 8.5 points and grabbed 2.4 rebounds throughout the season, earning the title of Top Reserve in the Big Sky Conference. At West Virginia, Battle competed in all 22 games and was the leading scorer for the University, averaging 16.1 points per game. He successfully converted 83.5 percent of his free throw attempts and made 40.8 percent of his shots from the field.
