With the 105th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the New York Giants chose Cameron Skattebo. Cameron Skattebo was a college football running back, playing for the Arizona State Sun Devils in the 2024-2025 season. Skattebo attended Rio Linda High School, where he had a standout junior season, rushing for an impressive 3,550 yards and scoring 42 touchdowns. His remarkable performance helped lead his team to a state championship, establishing him as a top prospect for college football. Following high school, he committed to play for the Sacramento State Hornets, where he began his collegiate career.

As of 2024, he has recorded significant statistics, including over 2,681 career rushing yards with an impressive average of 6.4 yards per carry. Skattebo has forced over 150 missed tackles throughout his career and has a low percentage of carries resulting in no gain or loss.

At Sacramento State, Skattebo quickly made his mark. In his freshman season (2021), he rushed for 520 yards and six touchdowns on just 57 carries, earning third-team All-Big Sky honors. However, it was during the 2022 season that he truly broke out. He rushed for 1,382 yards and seven touchdowns while also contributing as a passer and return specialist. His versatility earned him first-team All-Big Sky recognition and the title of Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year. Additionally, he was named an FCS All-American, highlighting his exceptional performance on the field. After two successful seasons at Sacramento State, Skattebo entered the NCAA transfer portal in search of new opportunities to further his career. In 2023, Skattebo transferred to Arizona State University to join the Sun Devils. His transition proved fruitful as he quickly became a key player in the team's offense. In a notable game against USC during week four of the 2023 season, he demonstrated his multifaceted abilities by rushing for 111 yards, throwing for 42 yards, and catching passes for 79 yards, scoring two touchdowns in total. In a week two victory over Mississippi State, he rushed for 262 yards, including a critical 39-yard run that allowed the Sun Devils to run out the clock.
