Malik Nabers is a wide receiver for the New York Giants of the NFL. He was selected with the 6th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft by the New York Giants. Nabers was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on on July 28, 2003. His football journey began at Ovey Comeaux High School in his hometown and later led him to Southside High School in Youngsville, Louisiana, where he completed his senior year. During his final high school season, Nabers showcased his prowess with an astounding 58 receptions, amassing an impressive 1,223 yards and tallying an astonishing 21 touchdowns. Nabers had initially committed to Mississippi State University, a decision that was eventually superseded by his move to Louisiana State University (LSU).

His freshman year at LSU in 2021 saw him play in 11 games, six of which he started. Nabers' performance on the field was highlighted by 28 receptions that translated into an impressive 417 yards, accompanied by four game-changing touchdowns. This not only underscored his potential but also solidified his position as a valuable asset to the LSU Tigers. In his sophomore season, he became the starter and immediately led the team with 72 receptions for 1,017 yards. The following year was his true breakout year. He hauled in 89 receptions for 1569 yards in 2023, ranking him second in the nation. He finished his collegiate career as LSU's all-time leader in receiving yards (3,003).
