The Florida State Seminoles' wide receiver Keon Coleman was born on May 17, 2003, in the United States. Coleman had 10 appearances in 2021 while a true freshman at Michigan State, hauling in seven receptions for 50 yards and one touchdown.

Coleman started and led the team in receiving yards in 2022 as a sophomore. He caught 58 passes for 798 yards and seven touchdowns, making him the third-team All-Big Ten player. Coleman's touchdown and receiving yards figures stood out as well, ranking eighth and sixth in the conference, respectively. With 15 catches for 20 yards, Coleman also secured fourth place in the Big Ten.

In 2023, Coleman moved to Florida State to play for the Seminoles. He was ranked as the No. 4 wide receiver by 247Sports in the 2023 offseason transfer portal and made a big difference in the then-22 games, starting 12 with 65 receptions for 848 yards and eight touchdowns.

As per the official website of the Seminoles, Keon Coleman had his career-high 155 yards from five receptions against Michigan, which was a game-changing moment in his football career. This incredible feat was the third-highest receiving yardage total in series history for a Spartan against Michigan. In addition, he had an outstanding game for the Huskies at Washington, setting a career high with nine receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns.

Coleman grew up in the Opelousas suburbs of Louisiana. Even though he's already well-known, he hasn't revealed the majority of his early life experiences. All that is known about his family life is that he has brothers and sisters and that his parents are really supportive.

From a young age, Coleman showed an interest in football and basketball. Even in high school, he followed his passion and played both sports at the same time. His passion for the two sports developed over time, and he made the decision to keep playing both of them.

Coleman soon started participating in basketball for his high school team. His statistics were incredible up until graduation; he averaged 33 points per game. After that, he spent a few seasons as a basketball player with the Minnesota Vikings.

Coleman started getting offers from a ton of institutions as soon as he left the Minnesota Vikings. In July 2020, Coleman made his initial commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks. However, he left the team after just two months. On February 3, 2021, he became committed to Michigan State Football and Michigan State Basketball.

Keon Coleman’s Basketball Career

In his junior year, Coleman led the Vikings to an outstanding 10-2 record and helped them advance to the Division IV playoff quarterfinal round. He averaged a remarkable 26.0 points per game during his junior year, earning him a spot on the second team in the state.

Coleman’s skills were crucial in helping the Vikings advance to the Class 4A state playoffs' regional final round. This came after an incredible sophomore campaign in which he led the state semifinal team in scoring at an average of 23.1 points per game.

Coleman demonstrated his athleticism by participating in the Spartans' 2021–22 basketball season. Coleman, an Opelousas Catholic native and two-time all-state selection, is ranked as the eighth-best prospect in Louisiana for the Class of 2021 by ESPN.
