The third edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) will take place from 14th February 2025 to 15th March 2025. Each side will play eight games in the round-robin stage, with each team playing the other twice.
The top three teams after the round-robin stage will progress into the next round, where the table topper will directly make a place in the final. The franchises finishing in the 2nd and 3rd spot will face off in the eliminator and get to the final.
The Gujarat Giants Women, led by superstar Australian all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner, will open their campaign against the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on February 14.
The stadium will serve as their home venue, where they will battle UP Warriorz Women on February 16 and the Mumbai Indians Women on February 18.
Their first away fixture will be against the Delhi Capitals Women at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on February 25. The iconic venue will also play host to RCB-W’s home fixture against the Ashleigh Gardner-led unit on February 27.
The Giants will then move to Lucknow to battle UP Warriorz Women and Delhi Capitals Women at the Ekana Cricket Stadium on March 03 and 07, respectively. Their final round-robin match will take place against the Mumbai Indians Women at the historic Braboune Stadium in Navi Mumbai on March 10.
