The ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in 2025 are hosted by UAE and Pakistan between 19 February – 9 March 2025. There are a total of eight teams that ranked top in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The teams are divided into two groups of four in the ODI format. They each will play matches against the other three teams of the respective groups and there will be 12 matches in total.
The top two members of each group will be promoted to the knockout stage. Two semi-finals will be on the 4th and 5th of March and the final is on 9th March 2025. India hosted the tournament previously in 2006 and is set to host it again in 2029, as per ICC's official website.

The second match of Group A will be a clash between India and Bangladesh. The match is scheduled on 20 February, 2025, with the Dubai International Cricket Stadium as its venue. This clash will also be the second match of the tournament as well.
