The ICC Champions Trophy, formerly the ICC Knockout, is a distinguished cricket tournament featuring the top eight-ranked teams globally, conducted by the International Cricket Council. Its inaugural tournament took place in Bangladesh in 1998, where South Africa triumphed over the West Indies in the final. Initially held biennially, the event switched to a quadrennial format after the 2009 edition.

The ninth edition of the ICC Champions Trophy will unfold from February 19 to March 9, 2025, spanning across venues in both Pakistan and the UAE. In Pakistan, matches will be held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and Rawalpindi Stadium in Rawalpindi. In the UAE, the Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host a selection of games. This tournament marks the return of the Champions Trophy after an eight-year gap, with the previous edition taking place in 2017 in England and Wales.
