According to ESPN Cricinfo, former Indian captain and the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy winning captain Sourav Ganguly is the player who has the most sixes in the ICC Champions Trophy, as of February 2025. "The Prince of Kolkata" played 13 matches and 11 innings in the tournament from 1998 to 2004, where he hit a total of 17 sixes. He also hit 66 boundaries with a highest score of 141 not out in the competition. He scored a total of 665 runs with an average of 73.88 and a strike rate of 83.12. West Indies's Chris Gayle, England's Eoin Morgan and Paul Collingwood, and Australia's Shane Watson are also on the list of players with the most sixes in the ICC CT.

As of February 2025, former New Zealand opener Craig McMillan is the player who has the most sixes in a single inning in the ICC Champions Trophy, as reported by Champions Trophy's official website. McMillan hit seven sixes in an inning while playing against the United States at The Oval in the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy. He also hit two boundaries and scored 64 runs in 27 balls with a strike rate of 237.03.

Australia's Shane Watson, India's Sourav Ganguly, Pakistan's Shahid Afridi, and New Zealand's Nathan Astle also secured a place in the top five of the list of players with the most sixes in an inning in the ICC CT.
