Former Australian captain Steve Smith (Steven Peter Devereaux Smith) is a top-order batter who plays for the Australian men’s cricket team across all formats internationally. The right-handed batter was born on June 2, 1989, in Sydney, New South Wales. Smith, nicknamed Smudge, has also been an integral part of the Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Smith scored his 34th Test century in the fourth Test of the 2024 Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia, becoming the batsman with the most centuries against India (11 tons in Test cricket).

Smith and Willis opted to sell the bungalow for a private treaty sale instead of auctioning the property, as per Homes to Love. The couple is expected to earn a profit of USD 3.5 million in about four years.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Steve Smith sold his mansion situated in Vaucluse for a price of USD 12.38 million. The house was bought by Smith and his wife in 2020. The property was redesigned with a luxurious outlook by McKim Design, with four bedrooms, three marble bathrooms, a terrace, a swimming pool, a marble kitchen with a butler’s pantry, a wine storage room with an attached bar, a home theatre, heated floors, external cameras, remote control functions, and a double garage facility.

The Australian cricketer purchased a rundown house in Balmain East for USD 2 million in 2015. The property is leased for USD 2200 per week. Furthermore, a three-bedroom house was added for a price of USD 1.41 million in the name of a company in which Smith had a controlling interest, as of July 2022. Post its renovation, the house is leased for a price of USD 1600 per week.
