The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, also referred to as the Texas Grand Prix, is one of the most prominent stock car races held at the Circuit of the Americas, known as COTA, in Austin, Texas. The NASCAR Cup Series introduced COTA as a racing circuit and has become a part of the schedule ever since 2021.

In 2020, the succeeding season’s schedule had the first-ever Cup Series race at the Circuit of the Americas. The supporting races for the weekend were the Xfinity, Camping World Truck Series, and IMSA’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America races. Echo Park also secured the naming rights for the Texas Grand Prix at COTA and the race was named EchoPark Texas Grand Prix.

The EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix made its first appearance in the Cup Series Schedule in the 2021 season. The race takes place at Circuit of the Americas which was opened in 2012 and has been used for other motorsports like Formula 1 and MotoGP. The USGP in Formula 1 has been held at COTA for numerous years and has been a staple on the NASCAR schedule. One of the biggest obstacles faced by NASCAR when wanting to hold a race at this circuit was the clash with the Formula 1 calendar. William Byron won the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix in 2024 for Hendrick Motorsports.

EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix 2025 schedule

This will also be the fifth race of the circuit. The Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series races are also scheduled for the weekend. The race is scheduled to have 68 laps with three stages. The first two stages will each have 15 laps with the final stage lasting 38 laps.

One of the most unique features of the track is its 20 turns with all the corners resembling sections of various tracks from around the world. Drivers with the most wins in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix

Chase Elliot won the first-ever race at the circuit for Hendrick Motorsports. He was then succeeded by Ross Chastain who won the 2022 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. In 2023, Tyler Reddick took the race win at the circuit and William Byron won the race in 2024.
