About BMW Ladies Championship
One of the most anticipated golf championships is the BMW Ladies Championship, held annually in South Korea. It started in 2019 and was originally a replacement for the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship but ended up becoming the LPGA Tour's official stop in Korea during the Asian swing. The tournament is co-sanctioned by the LPGA Korea and LPGA Tour. The format of the tour is that both of the tours get to draw top players worldwide. The tournament follows the stroke play format over 72 holes, with no cuts, which means all 84 participants are supposed to compete throughout the entire competition.
The tournament is generally held in the Seowon Valley Country Club in Gyeonggi Province, with a par of 72 and a length of 6,647 yards (6,078 meters). Jang Ha-na was the first-ever winner of the BMW Champion of the BMW Ladies Championship.
