"Room for improvement"- Celine Boutier left wanting more after Day 1 of the BMW Ladies Championship

French professional golfer Celine Boutier is currently playing at the BMW Ladies Championship. In the tournament, which is being held at the Seowon Valley Country Club in South Korea, Boutier finds herself tied for fifth place with a score of 66 after Round 1.

After the conclusion of the round, Boutier was also part of a press conference where she discussed various aspects of her game in the first round. When asked what will she take from the first round heading into the rest of the week, Boutier spoke about room for improvement.

Celine Boutier said (via ASAP Sports):

"I think there's still some room for improvement. I definitely feel confident with my game and where it's headed. But I definitely feel like it's a long week ahead and a few rounds to go. So definitely have to keep up. I feel like it's a course that's pretty scorable. So you know, definitely just getting started."

Celine Boutier is playing the BMW Ladies Championship after a good showing at the Buick LPGA Shanghai. In the event which was held in China, Boutier tied for 9th place. While the French golfer has come close to winning on a couple of occassions this year, she is yet to win a tournament in 2024.
