The BMW Ladies Championship will take place from October 17th–20th at the Seowon Valley Country Club in Gyeonggi, Korea. Lilia Vu, the number two in the world rankings, will lead the field, which will include eight members of the top 10.
Predictions from specialized sites indicate that it will be a very competitive event. According to the Sportsbook site, FanDuel has Atthaya "Jeeno" Thitikul (+900) as the favorite to win the title, although with a small edge over last week's winner, Ruoning Yin (+1000).
Thitikul holds the BMW Ladies Championship 18-hole record of 9-under 63, set in the first round of the 2022 edition. The Thai won the Dow Championship this season and has eight other top-10 finishes.
Yin, meanwhile, has won twice in 2024, the Dow Championship teaming up with Thitikul and the Buick LPGA Shanghai a week ago. She has three other top 10s, including a tie for second at the AIG Women's Open.
Third on the list of favorites is local favorite Haeran Ryu (+1100), who has one win and nine other top-10s this season. Newly inducted LPGA Hall of Famer and 2024 3-time LPGA Tour winner Lydia Ko is close behind at +1200.
