2024 Shriners Children's Open past winners: Exploring the winners for the last 10 years

The 2024 Shriners Children's Open will begin on October 17th at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, the tournament field includes prominent names like Tom Kim, Rickie Fowler, Adam Hadwin, and Francesco Molinari.

Shriners Children's Open past 10 winners

The Shriners Children's Open is part of the FedEx Cup fall season schedule, and so for the last couple of years, prominent golfers like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler have not competed in this event as they have a limited schedule during the fall season.

South Korean golfers have dominated the last three years of the event, as last year we saw Tom Kim win the tournament for the second year in a row. He carded -20 for the event in 2023. The previous year, he carded 24 under par to take home the trophy. In 2021, Sungjae Im won the event as he carded -24 for the event.

In 2020, Martin Laird won the event in a playoff after he was tied for first place with Matthew Wolff and Austin Cook, scoring -23. The 2019 edition also saw a playoff victory as Kevin Na and Patrick Cantlay carded -23 after 72 holes, with Na winning the playoff.

Bryson DeChambeau emerged as the champion in 2018 as he won the event by one stroke. He carded -21 for the event, while Cantlay finished a stroke behind the winner again, this time as defending champion.

Cantlay carded -9 at the event in 2017 and won the tournament in a playoff, with Whee Kim and Alex Cejka sharing the top spot before losing out to the American in the playoff.

In 2016, Pod Pampling won as he carded -20 for the event, while Brooks Koepka finished second at -18.

Smylie Kaufman won in 2015 by a stroke as he carded -16, while Ben Martin scored -20 and won the tournament in 2014 by two strokes.
