2024 Shriners Children's Open prize money breakdown: How much will each golfer earn from the $7 million pool?

The 2024 Shriners Children's Open will begin on October 17th at TPC Summerlin Las Vegas, Nevada. While prominent names like Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler are not in the field this week at TPC Summerlin, the field has top golfers like Tom Kim, Rickie Fowler, Francesco Molinari, Adam Hadwin, Si Woo Kim, and Kevin Kisner, among others.

The South Korean golfer Tom Kim is looking to register his third consecutive victory at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open after winning the previous two editions of the tournament. The Shriners Children's Open is one of the oldest events on the PGA Tour with the tournament debuting 41 years ago in 1983.

The golfers will compete for a share of the $7,000,000 prize purse. The winner will receive $1.26 million from the total purse while the runner-up will get $763,000. Apart from monetary benefits, the tournament also has 500 FedEx Cup Fall points on offer.

The 2024 Shriners Children's Open has 132 golfers in the field. However, not all golfers will receive a share of the prize money purse. The golfers who make the cut after 36 holes will make it to the weekend and get a share of the $7,000,000 prize money purse based on their ranking after 72 holes.
