Bryson DeChambeau, famously known as the "scientist" for his analytical approaches towards the game, currently competes at LIV Golf, though he formerly played on the PGA Tour. By winning the U.S. Amateur and the NCAA Division I championship in the same year, he became just the fifth player in history to accomplish this feat.

DeChambeau's clubs are custom-built for him, with grips that are thicker than normal and uniformly sized irons. He became the PGA Tour's longest-serving driver in 2020 after winning the U.S. Open.

After joining LIV Golf in 2022, DeChambeau won his first league event in August 2023 at The Greenbrier. Following a second-round score of 61, he shot a 58 in the third and final round to tie the record for the lowest round in a men's professional golf tournament. His second LIV tour victory came in September at the 2023 LIV Golf Chicago, with a final round of 63, which included a 28 on the back nine, winning him the match by one stroke.
