Gerry Lester "Bubba" Watson, an American professional golfer, competes in the LIV Golf League as of March 2025. He began playing golf since his high school days at the Milton High School in Florida. After which, he played college for the Faulkner State Community College and then, in 2000, he transferred to the University of Georgia. He turned professional in 2002 and won his first professional win at the NGA Hooters Tour's Michelob Ultra Orange Park Open in 2004. Moving on, through the Nationwide Tour (now the Korn Ferry Tour), he earned his PGA Tour for the 2006 season.

However, Watson had his first PGA win four seasons later, at the 2010 Travelers Championship. He is known for playing left-handed and was ranked first in driving distance stats five times between 2006 and 2014. He eventually joined the LIV Golf League in 2022 as the captain of the GC Range Goats. As of March 2025, he has won 15 professional events, including the 2012 and 2014 Masters Tournaments and the 2014 and 2018 WGC Events. Further, he even achieved his world career-high ranking of No. 2 in February 2015.
