TPC Southwind is a private golf club situated in Shelby County, Tennessee, in the southern United States. It is located within the gated community of Southwind, in the southeastern part of Memphis. The golf course, an 18-hole championship layout, was designed by Ron Prichard, with input from professional golfers Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller. TPC Southwind first opened its doors in 1988 and is a member of the Tournament Players Club (TPC) network, operated by the PGA Tour. It is conveniently located near the world headquarters of FedEx, with the two facilities adjacent to each other on the west side.
Since 1989, TPC Southwind has been the host venue for the annual FedEx St. Jude Classic, formerly known as the Memphis Open. Prior to being held at TPC Southwind, the event took place at Colonial Country Club in Cordova. After the 2004 tournament, TPC Southwind underwent renovations to enhance the golf course and facilities.
