Grant Thornton Invitational 2023: Dates, Tee Times, Location and Field Course/List

The Grant Thornton Invitational Tour was recently announced by both the PGA Tour & the LPGA Tour. It's going to be a mixed tournament played by both pro members of the LPGA & PGA golfers where these pros will be playing against and together in a co-sanctioned tournament. It's going to be held in the Tiburón Golf Club and The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, from the 8th of December till the 10th of December. The Grant Thornton Invitational will be one-of-its-kind as it will be the first annual tournament played since 1999 in the JCPenney Classic. We'll see 32 players, 16 from LPGA & 16 from PGA, on the greens of Tiburón Golf Club and The Ritz-Carlton Naples competing for the equal prize money of $4 million.

The excitement for the Grant Thornton Invitational is real; players such as Rickie Fowler, Tony Finau, Cameron Champ, Nelly Korda, Jess Korda and Mel Reid have already announced and talked about their participation. The committee has already released the names of the teams! Recently, they announced the date and start of the game so that the audience or fans can tune in and not miss this unique tournament. December 4th & 5th, Monday& Tuesday:

December 6th, Wednesday:

Official Pro-Am; Round 1: Unfortunately, this event will be closed to the public.


December 7th, Thursday:

Official Pro-Am; Round 2: Unfortunately, this event will be closed to the public.


December 8th, Friday:

Round 1

  • Gates open at 8:00 am

  • Tee times: 9:00 am – 11:00 am


December 9th, Saturday:

Round 2

  • Gates open at 10:30 a.m.

  • Tee times: 11:30 am – 1:00 pm


December 10th, Sunday:

Final Round

  • Gates open at 8:00 am

  • Tee times: 9:00 am – 11:00 am

Grant Thornton Invitational 2023 Course details

The course where Grant Thornton will be played is in Naples, Florida. It's an extremely unique course, perfect for a unique tournament. Tiburón Golf Club consists of two 18-holes. Designed by the one and only Greg Norman-designed courses, The Gold and The Black. This course was first inaugurated in 1998, and the Black course opened just two years after in 2001. Both courses have five sets of tees and play to a par of 72! It's full of tricky yet fun obstacles, which the pros seem to love and appreciate!
