Casey Jarvis had an outstanding Saturday (July 20) at the Barracuda Championship, shooting 7-under 64, including a hole-in-one. He collected 16 points in the third round to move 39 spots to T6.

On Saturday, Jarvis entered the third round of the Barracuda Championship at T45 and had added just 17 points in two rounds. He carded back-to-back birdies on holes 2nd and 3rd before bogeying the 4th.

On the par-3, 210-yard sixth hole, Casey Jarvis bagged five points with the help of an ace. He had eight points by then and added eight more with the help of four birdies on the remaining holes.

During the post-round interview, the 20-year-old golfer reflected on his ace. He said, as per the PGA Tour:

"I just stepped on an 8-iron. Was trying to hit it center of the green, kind of just left of the center. It pulled a little and kind of pitched just right of the hole and went in."

With 33 points, Casey Jarvis is six points behind the leader, Mac Meissner, who shot 65 on Saturday and added 13 points. Vince Whaley is in second place with 38 points, and Rico Hoey has 36 points after 54 holes.
