2024 Barracuda Championship Monday qualifiers: Who qualified for the $4,000,000 event

The 2024 Barracuda Championship will be played this weekend as an alternative tournament to the Major happening at the same time. Since the field for Major championships is often very difficult to get into, smaller tournaments like this one are scheduled to give everyone else a chance to play and earn some money.

It's not the easiest tournament to get into, though. There is qualifying, and much of it took place on Monday, July 15. After a qualifier finished, there are now four players in the field that weren't beforehand.

Baron Szeto shot eight under to win the qualifier outright. In second place was Beua Forest, who shot six under. Both players automatically made it into the field for this weekend.

There was a four-way tie for third, which yielded a playoff. Corey Pereira, Sangmoon Bae, Alex Ching, and Sterling Hurd all tied at five under. After the playoff, Pereira and Bae earned their spots in the Barracuda Championship.

Who's playing the Barracuda Championship?

Aside from the four above who qualified as a result of their performances yesterday, the field is full of talented golfers who didn't get the chance to play in the Open Championship.
