2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic: Round 1 tee times and pairings explored

The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic is set to be held from June 27 to 30. 156 players will be teeing on Thursday, June 27 at the Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan.

Notable players like Scottie Scheffler, Rory Mcllroy, Ludvig Aberg, and Wyndham Clark will be resting this week after two signature events, the Travelers Championship and the Memorial tournament, and a Major i.e., the US Open 2024.

Tom Kim, the runner-up of the last PGA Tour event, the Travelers Championship, is the favorite to win the 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic. He is also the highest-ranked OWGR player in the tournament.

Akshay Bhatia and Cameron Young are two other notable players in the field. Tom Kim is paired with Robert MacIntyre and Cameron Young for the first round and will tee at 7:40 AM EDT. While Akshay Bhatia will partner with Stephan Jaeger and Min Woo Lee at 12:43 PM EDT.

Defending champion Rickie Fowler will tee off with Will Zalatoris and Cam Davis at 1:05 PM EDT. The 2024 Rocket Mortgage Classic boasts a prize purse of $9.2 million with the winner taking home $1.656 million this year.
