Kevin Yu's performance during the fourth round of the Sanderson Farms Championship included six birdies and one bogey for a 5-under round. He finished at 23-under for the tournament, tied for first place with Beau Hossler.

It was the first playoff of Yu's PGA Tour career and the second for Hossler. The Taiwanese beat the American with a birdie on the first hole to win his first tour title.

After winning the Sanderson Farms Championship, Yu emphasized how much this title means to his career (via ASAP Sports):

"It's literally a dream come true. I've been dreaming of this moment since I was five. I think this is the dream for all the golfers, to win on PGA."

His victory gives Kevin Yu a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour (through 2026), plus invitations to three of the four majors next season. It also qualifies him for the eight Signature Events in 2025.
