The second-place finisher will take $828,400, while the third-place finisher will earn $524,400. Luke List is the defending champion for the Sanderson Farms Championship, taking victory with a score of 18 under par 270 last year.

The event will also be important for those who are trying to get a PGA Tour card for the 2025 season since the tournament will be offering crucial points. This will be important for those golfers who are lower than 70th in the FedEx Cup rankings at the end of the 2024 PGA Tour season.

According to the PGA Tour, 20-year-old Nick Dunlap tops the power rankings for the tournament. Maverick McNealy, Ben Griffin, and Patrick Fishburn are some of the other top-ranked golfers this weekend. However, the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and others will be sitting it out.

Michael Thorbjornsen, who is the world no. 1 ranked PGA Tour University golfer, will also be in the field this weekend.

MacKenzie Hughes is the only golfer from the Presidents Cup who will be playing this weekend.
