The Pebble Beach Pro-Am is this weekend. The PGA Tour's second Signature Event has a stacked field including some of the top-ranked golfers in the world. According to the odds, one player has the best shot at winning, but others represent intriguing choices. Here are the full odds and some predictions.

Odds and predictions for Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Of course, Scottie Scheffler is the Pebble Beach Pro-Am favorite. Until he shows some regression or poor form, it's hard to imagine him not being favored in every single start he makes. He won't win them all, though, which is where Rory McIlroy comes in.

The algorithm from Sportsline, which has predicted 13 Majors accurately since 2020 (including three of four last year) and has won nearly $9500 since it began predicting that year, believes McIlroy will stumble and finish outside the top five.

It believes Sam Burns, who is 40-1 to win this weekend, will surprise and end up pretty close to victory. His high ranking on the green, including sixth in putting average (1.636) and 10th in strokes gained putting (1.223), make him an interesting pick this weekend. Burns is also sixth in birdie average (6.13) and 13th in scoring average (67.88) overall, so he's primed for a good weekend.
