PGA Tour pro slipped down 47 spots after brutal shots at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open

Joseph Bramlett's game was affected by the triple bogey on the first hole on Friday, October 18, at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open. He was in contention to clinch the title after having a phenomenal start to the tournament. He shot a bogey-free opening round with seven birdies.

However, the unfortunate triple bogey in the second round caused him to slip down 47 spots on the leaderboard. After the semi-finished second round, he was tied for 49th place.

Bramlett started the game on Friday by making bogeys on the tenth and 11th holes. He then made par on the next three, followed by a birdie on the 15th. He shot two birdies and three bogeys on the front nine, then on the back nine he carded two birdies, two bogeys, and an unfortunate triple bogey for a round of 4-over. With a total of 3-under, he tied for 49th place.

However, some players are yet to complete their rounds as play was suspended on Friday due to darkness. After the semi-finished round, Taylor Pendrith is in the lead at 10-under.

Play will resume with the second round on Saturday, October 19, at 10:15 a.m. ET. After the completion of the second round, only the players making the cut will tee off for the final two rounds over the weekend.
