Michael S. Kim reacted with a three-word response to his fabulous rounds at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open. The American golfer competed at the recently concluded PGA Tour event.
In the fourth round of the event on Sunday, October 20, Kim shot an incredible round with 10 birdies. He settled in a tie for fifth place on the leaderboard with Davis Thompson and K. H. Lee.

The 2024 Shriners Children's Open concluded with its finale on Sunday, with J.T. Poston registering an amazing victory in the game. He secured a one-stroke win at the event. The American golfer shot 64, 65, 66, and 67 in the four rounds. He took the lead after the third round and maintained it through the final round.
Doug Ghim settled in second place, while Matt Schmid finished in third place in a tie with Rico Hoey. Taylor Pendrith had an impressive start with a round of 61 on the first day but encountered some difficulties in the other rounds with scores of 71, 67, and 68. After the final round, he slipped five spots on the leaderboard and settled in solo eighth place. Harry Hall tied with Harris English, Gary Woodland, Alejandro Tosti, and Kurt Kitayama for a tie in 10th place.
A look into Michael S. Kim's performance at the 2024 Shriners Children's Open
Michael S. Kim started his campaign at the PGA Tour event on the 10th hole. He made a birdie on the first hole, followed by another birdie on the 12th. He shot five birdies on the front nine and one birdie and two bogeys on the back nine for a round of 5-under 66.
Kim again started the second round with a birdie on the first hole, followed by two back-to-back bogeys on the seventh and eighth holes, and then a birdie on the ninth. He carded two bogeys, a birdie, and an eagle on the back nine to score a 1-under 70.
The 31-year-old golfer posted a round of 3-under 68 with five birdies and two bogeys in the third round. He started the final round with two consecutive birdies on the third and fourth holes. He shot five birdies on the front nine and five more on the back, along with one bogey, for a round of 9-under 62. After the fourth round, he jumped 23 spots on the leaderboard and tied for fifth place.
Notably, it's his best finish of the year. Having played in 27 events this season, Michael S. Kim secured two finishes in the top 10, including T6 at The American Express and T5 at the Shriners Children's Open.
