The PGA Tour is currently in Austin, Texas, for the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play. The circuit will next head to the TPC San Antonio (Oaks Course) in San Antonio for the Valero Texas Open. The four-day event starting March 30 will wrap up in time for the 2023 Masters.
Ahead of the event, the PGA Tour has let out a provisional field that features some big names on the tour. Valero Texas Open defending champion J.J. Spaun returns to the site of his first PGA Tour win along with Rickie Fowler, Hideki Matsuyama and Tyrrell Hatton for the event.
The golfers will be looking for strong outings at the Valero Texas Open, especially Fowler, who’ll be eyeing a Masters berth. However, top names including the likes of Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler have taken the week off to prepare for the Masters.
