The 2024 Barracuda Championship is the opposite field event of the Open Championship and thus lacks star power. The scoring of the 2024 Barracuda Championship is being done as per the modified Stableford format. Under this format, a player gets 8 points for a double eagle, 5 for an eagle, and 2 for a birdie. One point is deducted in the case of a bogey, and three in the case of a double bogey or more.

Meissner entered the field at T7, but a bogey-free round helped him surge to the top. He collected four birdies and an eagle on the fourth day to add 13 points for the day. Vince Whaley was tied for 28th after two rounds and began the day with a bogey. However, in the next 17 holes, he picked up six birdies and an eagle to collect 16 points and move to second place.

Tee times for the final round of the 2024 Barracuda Championship explored

The final round of the Barracuda Championship will begin on Sunday, July 21, at 11:20 am ET. Nick Watney will start the round solo and will be followed by Scott Gutschewski and Peter Malnati as the first duo to tee off. The duo will begin their round at 11:25 am ET.

Leader Mac Meissner is paired with Vince Whaley and will begin the final round of the 2024 Barracuda Championship at 4:50 pm ET. The purse for the event is $4 million, and the winner will bag $720,000.
