How did Ted Scott become Scottie Scheffler's caddie?

Bubba Watson and Ted Scott split their ways in late 2021, following which the caddie considered retirement and pursuing a career as a golf coach. However, Scheffler called him before he went to play in the Masters Tournament and asked him to caddie for him. The answer didn't come easily, but after 1.5 weeks, Ted agreed to caddie for Scheffler.

Scottie knew he wanted Ted because not only he's a golfer himself and had worked for Bubba Watson for over 15 years, but the major one being that he knew the Augusta National Golf Course by heart. Scott has now been part of four Masters wins as a caddie for Bubba Watson in 2012 and 2014 and Scottie Scheffler in 2022 and 2024.

When Scott and Watson decided to split amicably, Scott never expected that he would be back at Augusta National. It all changed when Ted caddied for Scheffler and helped him win The Masters'. The two just clicked, and the duo has been unstoppable since!
